Knowing a good tomato sauce recipe is a must in all kitchens. This sauce is my go to! It’s super easy and can be used in a range of dishes especially when pasta is involved…lasagne anyone? It can be jam packed with all type of vegetables without anyone even knowing.
If you are struggling to get your little ones or fussy eaters to eat enough vegetables, add in a mixture of vegetables into the sauce while cooking and then try blending this sauce after it has simmered as they won’t be able to tell that there are extra vegetables in there. Just make sure you let the sauce cool before blending unless your blender allows for hot products.
