Tzatziki has to be one of the best sauces and so versitile that you could nearly have it at every meal. Plus who doesn’t love a garlicy, fresh side that you can dip your pita bread in, smother your freshly baked vegetables with or served on a nice grazing platter with fresh vegetables, loads of feta cheese and some olives. It is also a great side to have at your next Summer BBQ.
Tzatziki is thought to be paired with many traditonally Greek dishes, however, it can also served throughout the Mediterranean and Middle East, sometimes under a different name or with a slightly different flavour. The Greek version is usually made with cucumber but I honestly enjoy it a little bit more with zucchini. It’s super light and can be enjoyed at anytime of the year.
